about

A song about the (possibly mythical) act of ship wrecking. Featuring the guest vocals of Grace Peters

lyrics

From dark waters we saw the light of the land. But lit by the wrong hand, the shifting sands of fortune called from the far side of the island, steering us away from the shore and into the rocks, broke open the locks, took everything. Rose out of the blue and wrecked the boat in two, we couldn't win. The tide will drag us in. Deep into the blue, sink or swim. From over the hill they came, a glow of eyes lit up by fire, by flame, of searching torches turning over the remains, of all that's left of the un-named, feeding on whatever misfortune leaves us.
